Cornelius & Anthony Takes to the Sky with Aerial Release

Cornelius & Anthony to Release Aerial

Even with the FDA breathing down our necks, Cornelius & Anthony is the latest to announce a new release. In a press release today, the company’s latest release – the Aerial – will be released at this years IPCPR trade show in Las Vegas.  We always knew Steve Bailey and his growing boutique cigar company  was shooting for the stars,  based on previous releases like the DaddyMac,  Venganza, Meridian, and Cornelius. Each of these previous releases have gotten rave reviews, not only by Stogie Press, but across the cigar blogosphere. The bar has been set and I fully expect Steve not to waver in the Aerial, as he takes his portfolio to a new height.
Cornelius & Anthony Aerial
The Aerial will be an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapped cigar. According to the company’s press release, the blend is described as:
  • Wrapper – Ecuadorian Connecticut
  • Filler – Nicaraguan
  • Binder – US

The Aerial will be initially released in 4 vitolas and packaged in 20-count boxes:

  • Gordo – 6 x 60 MSRP $10.75
  • Toro – 6 x 50 MSRP $9.75
  • Robusto – 5 x 50 MSRP $9.25
  • Corona Gorda – 5.5. x 46  MSRP $8.75

The Aerial will be produced at Erik Espinosa’s La Zona factory in Esteli, Nicaragua.

Cornelius & Anthony describes the Aerial as a “beautifully sophisticated blend created with old world Cuban style” . The release continues to describe the Aerial as:

“..a handsome cigar with refined complexity. Subtle notes of coffee,  wood and leather from the Nicaraguan filler tobaccos sing as they marry with our US grown binder,  leaving a lingering sweetness on the palate with its velvety smoke”

We hope to have reviews of the new Aerial as soon as we get our hands on them, we fully anticipate this new release to be as special as the previous ones from  the company.

I would like to note, that as the show approaches, there has been quite a number of Connecticut releases from companies this year. This may well make 2017 the year of the Connecticut. Of course it will  be fun to see who has the best one this year.
