NEWEST ADDITIONS TO SOSA
Miami, Florida – August 5, 2016 – Antillian Cigar Corporation, also known as Sosa Cigars, is in the process of expanding some of their popular brands. These line extensions are already being sold, and the first batch has already been shipped this week.
They have now added the Sosa Auric Perfectum
Spiced 5-packs (pictured right). These cigars are made in Esteli, Nicaragua at the Tabacalera Aroma de Jalapa, S.A. factory with tobacco from their own farm. These cigars are beautifully dual wrapped with Habano and Connecticut wrappers and Nicaraguan binders and fillers. The tobacco is then cured with 4 different types of Bourbon whiskey: honey tea, cinnamon, cherry and then your standard whiskey. The consumer will be able to choose from 4 different sizes: Robusto, Toro, Torpedo and Churchill. M.S.R.P. for the 5-packs is $35-$37.

The next project involves the Sosa Underground, which is part of our “Boutique to the Extreme” project. The Delphic Dual Wrapper is the new cigar in this line (pictured left). The Delphic is a 5 1/2′ x 41″ cigar. This version of the Delphic is dual wrapped like a barbershop poll with Candela and Habano wrappers. Both ends of the cigar are covered with Habano wrapper, and the cap is finished with a pigtail. This cigar is being made out of La Vega Cubana in Clearwater, Florida. Underground cigars are made by one cigar roller, but we have brought in another roller just to make this Delphic Dual Wrapper. M.S.R.P. for the cigar is $10.50.

Lastly, we have added a new size to the classic Sosa Auric Perfetum line. A Lancero size, a 7 1/2′ x 38″ cigar, is the newest Sosa Auric Perfectum (pictured left). This cigar is being made in Esteli, Nicaragua at the Tabacalera Aroma de Jalapa, S.A. factory. M.S.R.P. of the Lancero is $7.

About Antillian Cigar Corp:

Antillian Cigar Corporation is the manufacturer of the popular brands of Sosa Classic, 60 by Sosa, Imperio Cubano and Macabi. The Sosa family has been in the cigar business for 4 generations, more than 70 years. The Sosa cigar tradition began at the turn of the 19th century with Don Juan Sosa, a small tobacco grower in the fertile Taguasco region of Cuba. By the 1920’s, that farm was one of the largest tobacco-producing haciendas in Cuba. Over the next 30 years, Don Juan’s son, Arturo, and grandson, Juan, continued growing and selling their tobacco. Exiled from their homeland in Cuba in 1962, the Sosa family opened their first U.S. store in 1964 in Miami, FL. The Sosa’s currently have 2 stores in Florida, including the shop in Downtown Disney. They have their line of cigars in 300 stores across the country. Today, the legacy of quality, handmade cigars made in the Cuban tradition continues with master blender, Juan B. Sosa, alongside his wife, sons and nephews.
