Black Smoke Miami – Cuban Crafters – History Being Made

Thursday was day 2 of the epic and historic Black Smoke Miami event and event that showcased the hard work of Mr. Kennedy Achille who just 4 short months ago decided this was something he needed to do. Kennedy is the owner of the StogieTV.com brand and is recognized author and videographer on cigars and the cigar lifestyle. This event, though billed as a celebration of the black cigar culture, it was open to all cultures and lifestyles. The only real  criteria for participating was a love for cigars and the comradery  that it brings to us and check any negative attitudes at the door. the vent itself is 5 full  days of cigar celebration in the great city of Miami.

I was not able to attend day one but based on the stories i heard it was a great kick off. I did make it to day 2 and will  continue coverage of this event through the weekend. I arrived around 1:30 PM on Thursday after a pleasant 3 hour drive down from Melbourne FL. Other than those that were locally mine was a short trip. When I arrived I made my way immediately to the pool deck of the Miami Lakes Indigo Hotel where I met some of the many participants of this historic cigar event. The crowd was just building and the folks I met were from as far away as Oakland California, Las Vegas Nevada, Chicago Illinois, Boston Massachusetts, Washington D.C. Baltimore Maryland and, New York City ,  and the list goes on. You get the picture, Kennedy was able to draw from all parts of the United States and this was only day 2. More attendees are rolling in as I type this before we start the main events for day 3.

The event for day 2 was held at the Cuban Crafters Cigar Factory here in Miami and it included a DJ, Food and and a cash bar. As the night drew on the crown grew. Starting as a small group sitting around to a packed house of close to 150 attendees.

Here is a slice show of day 2.  If you don’t see this slide show because you received this email as a subscriber to  Stogie Press.I apologize as the email article does not render the slide show. Please visit StogiePress.com and click on the Lifestyle menu to see the show.
