Well it was an action packed and smokey fun Thursday and Friday at the Black Smoke Miami events and now it was time to let it all hang as we moved to the Mansion Party. Yes this was a mansion with a big house, huge back yard, and a ginormous gazebo overlooking the river.
The day started with a touch of showers in the morning which cleared up just in time for the afternoon event. I arrived early to make sure I secured a parking spot which was easy as there was ample parking.
The afternoon event was billed as the Back Yard Boogie and BBQ and featured the Larry Dog band. Larry also entertained us on Thursday night at Cuban Crafters.
There was plenty of food to satisfy your hunger and the libations flowed freely and were poured by Novia Bartender Lady. If you ever need a bartender for a party she is the one to call. She has all the licensing required and provides a complete set up.
As the day progressed I took the time to walk about the grounds and shake some hands and take somebody photos. Cigar and swag vendors were placed near the entrance and included Davidoff, Coyaba, and Enki Cigars. The Cigar Rights Of America (CRA) was in attendance and all VIP attendees got a free CRA membership and all existing members received a 1 year extension to their membership.
Cigar Porn was in attendance selling shirts along with numerous other vendors.
Checkout the Caribbean Carnival Walking Band that entertained us.
The big announcement came from Kennedy himself as he took the stage to thank the late Don Kiki Berger for teaching him all he knew about cigars and then announced he is taking it to a new level with the introduction of his new cigar the “TK” by Don Kiki created in collaboration with Karen Berger. We will have a review of the TK sometime in October. I will say this – the early sampling can be described as cinnamon toast and espresso to start with a delicate sweetness from the Brazilian Arapiraca wrapper.
The day progressed into the early evening and then closed around 6PM so everyone could freshen up and change into their best “All Black” attire for the evening festivities at Casa de Monticristo Prime in downtown Miami. We will have another article on that event shortly.
Meanwhile take the time to scroll through the following slide show of the Black Smoke Miami Back Yard Boogie and BBQ.
