Oliva Cigar Co. that states “The rumors are completely untrue”

The latest on the cigar consolidation front is a rumor that Davidoff is going to aquire Oliva cigars. We have recently reached out to Oliva and have not received a response as of yet.
Industry insiders that we have contacted are acknowledging the truth. We are led to believe that the announcement will be in the 1st quarter of 2015.
If the rumor is true this will be the 4th major consolidation behind Drew Estate, Torano and Leccia Tobacco as the industry looks for ways to survive in a post FDA regulation world.
