Stogie Press 2015 Top 25 Boutique Cigars Candidates

Ok, we are getting down to the wire with the candidate selections for the 2015 Top 25 Boutique Cigars here at Stogie Press. We have announced 15 of the 25 candidates and today we add the next 5. As noted the official countdown will be announced on New Years day as we always do.

The next 5 candidates are:

Aging Room Quattro F59:

F59 Quattro

Rafael Nodal and his Aging Room brand has created another fine cigar with this years release of the F59 Quattro. This is a terrific smoking experience that is sure to please any aficionado and other seasoned cigar smokers. It was a full flavor, full body cigar that had no construction issues and provided a relaxed 90 minutes of solitude.

Nomad Esteli Lot 8613:

Nomad Esteli Lot 8613

Fred Rewey is turning into quite the cigar blender and this year the Esteli Lot 8613 makes the cut for our Top 25 Boutique cigars. The Nomad Esteli Lot 8613 was an exceptional full flavor, full body, medium strength cigar, from a hard-working passionate cigar man. It is one that any cigar smoker would and should enjoy and the price point makes that easy.

R.P. Duran Neya F8 Ligero Typhoon:

Neya F8 Ligero Typhoon

Well we all know how much I like a good ash, but it tales more than a solid ash to make the Top 25 Boutique cigar list here at Stogie Press. The Neya F8 Ligero Typhoon is an outstanding cigar with near perfect burn qualities. It is chock full of flavor and the strength and should be enjoyed by most seasoned smokers. If you don’t desire a full strength cigar I suggest ending the experience after the second third, but if you are like me and like a little kick at the end of your cigar, then take to the nub and appreciate all the flavor the cigar has to offer.

Warped Don Reynaldo:

Warped Don Reynaldo

Warped Don Reynaldo

Warped Cigars and Kyle Gellis just simply makes great cigars and this year they have the honor of making the Top 25 Boutique Cigars twice. The Warped Don Reynaldo is, as expected, a flavorful full body cigar that burned well and delivered just the right amount of strength.  For a small cigar it performed like a champ with almost an hour of absolute flavor sensations.

Iconic Leaf Recluse Amadeus Habano Reserva:

Last year Iconic Leaf  made  some waves in the industry with the release of the Recluse Amadeus cigar. This year the company went one step further and released the Recluse Amadeus Habano Reserva. This step, although simple in form, has produced a  bolder smoking experience by replacing the original Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper with an undisclosed habano wrapper. Overall the Recluse Amadeus Habano Reserva was a terrific smoking experience that demonstrated a solid  construction and impeccable burn characteristics that is full of flavor including such elusive components as almond and vanilla.

So there you have it, we have 5 more candidates to list and then we will release the break down on New Year Day.

Congratulations to the candidates selected so far.
