Overall I liked Island Jim #2 . I believe Jim has a terrific relationship  with Oscar on these collaborations and I am looking forward to their next creation. Thanks for the sample Jim.

Villiger Cigars Cabareté Maduro

villiger cigars

From our Review:

I finally decided to open the sample pack from Villiger Cigars I received at this years IPCPR and run the Cabareté Maduro through the Stogie Press test. The Cabarete is one of the 3 new lines of cigars Villiger has introduced in 2014.

Rodriguez Cigars Serie 84 Maduro

Rodriguez Cigars Serie 84 Maduro

From our Review:

Overall we would say the Rodriguez Cigars Serie 84 Maduro will be one cigar to reckon with in 2015 and we wish Danny and his family the best in this new expansion. We highly recommend the Serie 84 Maduro.

E.P. Carrillo La Historia

E.P. Carrillo La Historia

E.P. Carrillo La Historia

From our review:

I could go on and write about the La Historia and what I tasted but I would only be repeating what E.P. Carrillo already posted on their site.

Superior crafted box-pressed cigar with a smooth dark espresso-bean colored wrapper. The smoke is rich and full with dark chocolate, leather, black pepper, and coffee notes balanced with a creamy lingering finish.

A.J. Fernandez New World

New World Label

New World Label

From our review:

As the New World approached the end of the 2nd third, there was a hint of floral and hazelnut with a touch of coffee. I used to love Frangelica and coffee and that is what I was tasting here.
