The cigar world is changing again as it has been announced today that Charlie Torano has sold the Torano brand to General Cigar Co. The details are still rolling in but Half Wheel is reporting that they will still produce the line at the Plasencia, American Caribbean Tobacco S.A. Factory..
General Cigar Co sells over 60 million cigars a year and in 2007 acquired the CAO brand which Charlie Torano was part of. Reports say that the current employees of Torano will not be picked up by General Cigar.
