It has been a fun and exciting year here at Stogie Press. Although there was over 1274 new cigars that hit the market in 2014 we were not able to smoke them all. We have ranked those we smoked and the following are our top 25 cigars for 2014.
A key criteria was that the cigar had to be introduced in 2014 as a new blend or extension to an existing line. The other criteria was they had to be a boutique blend or small batch, limited edition cigar. Lastly they had to be legal cigars in other words I won’t be ranking Cuban cigars here. Also note, just because the stick is full body doesn’t mean it makes the top of the list. I look at the burn, the ash, the flavor (I like flavor), strength. I ignore price as that has little in my mind to do with a premium cigar.
Congratulations to those that made the list and we look forward to what new blends are coming in 2015. We hope you enjoy our list of the 2014 best cigars.
Happy New Year
