MBombay and Bombay Tobak Announce Release of MQBA

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

June 25, 2018

Palm Springs, CA – Bombay Tobak is pleased to announce the release of their newest blend, the MQBA – pronounced “em-kyoo-bho“.

Mel Shah – Bombay Tobak Owner states:

In producing the MQBA, Bombay Tobak employed a vertical expansion of the company where we leased a 70 acre farm in Ventana, Ecuador. Vertical expansion is always a welcome for any cigar manufacturer, to have access to quality tobaccos. It was a major undertaking for a new brand like ourselves. This helped us to have MQBA in our regular production schedule.

The tobacco used for MQBA cigars are 100% from the company’s farm in Ventana, Ecuador. The first seeds were planted in 2009, and so it was obvious for us to incorporate MQBA to our Vintage Reserve line.

The multi country blend of the MQBA is described as:

  • Wrapper – Ecuador
  • Filler – Ecuador
  • Binder – Dominican Republic, Peru, & Ecuador

MQBA will be showcased at the IPCPR 2018, in Las Vegas at the MBombay booth #365.

The MQBA will be offered in 4 vitolas:

  • Diadem (7 x 56)
  • Toro (6 x 52)
  • Torpedo (6 x 52)
  • Nikka (6 1/2 x 42)

They all will be available in boxes of 24 and gift packs of 4 cigars (MQBA Diadem will be 3 cigars in a gift pack). Retail pricing has been set at $12-$16.60USD/cigar.

Like all MBombay cigars, the MQBA cigars are meticulously hand rolled at Tobaccos de Costa Rica.
