Villiger San’Doro Colorado – Rough Cut Cigar Review

Villiger San'Doro Colorado
Today we offer the Stogie Press Rough Cut cigar review notes on the Villiger San’Doro Colorado. I received samples of this cigar from Villiger Cigars North America, Inc. I would like to thank them for the samples.
The Villiger San’Doro line was introduced at the 2015 IPCPR and included three blends; Brazilian Puro Maduro, Claro and Colorado. Unlike the Maduro which we reviewed early this year, the Claro and Colorado are made by the Oliva cigar company at their TABOLISA factory in Estelí, Nicaragua.
The Villiger San’Doro Colorado is available in 3 vitolas:
  • Robusto – 5 x 50
  • Toro  – 6 x 50
  • Churchill – 7 x 50

The Villiger San’Doro Colorado blend is:

  • Wrapper:Ecuadorian habano
  • Binder: Nicaraguan
  • Filler: Nicaraguan

For this review I sampled the Toro.

  • The cedar starts to take front and center
  • Wafting chocolate aroma into the second third
  • Burn is near perfect, with a now thin char line
