Cigar Lifestyle: Black Smoke Miami 2019 – 3rd Anniversary

It’s that time again, when Brothers and Sisters of the leaf converge on Miami, Florida to celebrate the cigar lifestyle and friendship. This is the third year for the event and if it is anything like the previous years, it will only be bigger and better.

Event organizer, Kennedy Achille, AKA Tobacco Kennedy has planned another 5 day cigar extravaganza featuring an all star line up of sponsors including:

Day 1: Kick Off and Meet & Greet

The event starts on Wednesday, August 28th at Smoke on the Water at 7:00 PM. Smoke on the Water is located at 1630 Bell Tower Ln. Weston, Florida. This lounge is over 6,000 square feet with 28 draft beers and over 500 types of liquor and beer not mention one of the most expansive cigar collections in the USA including rare and hard to find Opus X and Davidoff.

Day 2: Havana Nights

The second day continues as the event moves to Cuban Crafters where there will be cigars, music, drinks, and featured vendors. The event starts at 7:00 PM. Cuban Crafters is located at 3604 NW 7th Street, Miami, Florida.

Day 3: Rep Your City Party

Friday August 30th is the night you get the chance to represent your city. TK asks; “Who’s going to represent the hardest.” The event will take place at the Miami Lakes Hotel and Golf Club, which is the host hotel for the long weekend. I can attest that this night will be long, especially if you are staying at one of the two host hotels. It officially starts at 7:00 PM but I have a feeling the party will start earlier at the pool during the day. Miami Lakes Hotel is located at 7601 Miami Lakes Drive, Miami Lakes, Florida.

Day 4: All White Backyard Boogie

The event is just getting warmed up by Saturday and the Backyard Boogie is classically the main event of Black Smoke Miami each year. The venue has changed from previous years. It will be held at Hialeah Park, located at 2200 E 4th Avenue, Hialeah, Florida. This venue is spectacular with a deep history in Miami. Celebrated by artists and architects, championed by poets and admired by celebrities and heads of state. This is the Park about which the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Sir Winston Churchill uttered one word, “Extraordinary! It also features a horse track and casino on the premises. So get your best white outfit and party like royalty at this event.

Day 5: Pool Side Brunch and Wrap Up Party

The final day of the event, held on Sunday September 1st, is a dual party event. It kicks off with a pool side brunch buffet with unlimited mimosas starting at 11:00 AM at the Miami Lakes Hotel and Golf Club.

After brunch take some down time for yourself and get dressed for the final party being held at Casa de Montecristo Prime Cigar & Whiskey Bar located at 1106 S. Miami Ave, Miami, Florida.
