Cigar News: A Rose By Any Other Name is Still The Desert Rose – Unless it is The BOSS LADY!

Southern Draw Cigars, the family-owned premium cigar brand announced two new line extensions for the DESERT ROSE cigar blend.

As part of the company’s long awaited 2022 Fall Release Collection, they are now offering two new vitolas in the highly acclaimed Desert Rose blend that is described as:

  • Wrapper: Ecuador – “cloud grown” Connecticut Shade
  • Binder:  Nicaragua – Habano
  • Filler:  Honduras and Dominican Republic – Corojo 99 and Piloto Cubano (Ligero)

The Boss Lady

The Boss Lady, named after Sharon Holt’s loveable nickname, is eloquently presented in individual hand-made wooden petacas, and then packaged five petacas per branded cigar accessory tray, like the packaging of the Jacobs Ladder Brimstone – Un Presidente which was originally released Fall 2020. 

The Boss Lady, is expressed in a (9 x 48) Gran Corona – round format – vitola and is a full production cigar pegged at 50,000 cigars per year. MSRP is set at $15.00 per cigar


Desert Rose Perfecto

The Desert Rose perfecto comes packaged in special five count samplers known as DRAWpaks with Boveda 2-way humidity control, to address the ongoing supply chain delays that have slowed box production for new products

The Desert Rose Perfecto is expressed in a (5 x 58) Perfecto vitola – round format – and is also a full production cigar pegged at 50,000 cigars per year. MSRP is set at $11.99 per cigar
