Cigar News: Cavalier Genève Cigars Announces Project Broadleaf Wayfinders

Cavalier Genève Cigars has announced the release of its third Project Broadleaf iteration for 2025, debuting this week, called Project Broadleaf Wayfinders. Exceptionally for this line, this third release will be offered in two vitolas.

Project Broadleaf: A Bold New Core Line in 2025

Project Broadleaf line shows a unique approach in the Cavalier’s portfolio. Due to the challenges of sourcing Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper, this new core line is offered in four unique releases per year, each featuring a distinct size and blend variation centered around the CT Broadleaf wrapper.

The Wayfinders, the latest Project Broadleaf iteration, come in two sizes, born from the same blend, that has been developed exclusively for this third project which is described as:

  • Wrapper: Connecticut Broadleaf
  • Binder: Jamastran
  • Filler: Esteli, Jamastran, India

The Project Broadleaf Wayfinders is expressed in 2 different vitolas each packaged in 10-count boxes:

  • Project Broadleaf Wayfinders (5 7/8 x 52) Parejo – MSRP $17.00
  • Project Broadleaf Wayfinders (9 x 48) Parejo – MSRP $28.00

The CT Broadleaf wrapper used on this cigar has undergone over 3 years of fermentation, interrupted by one year in bale. This specific tobacco is over 5 years old.

The blend base is the same in both sizes and has been rebalanced to fit each one of the vitolas accordingly.

Sébastien Decoppet, Founder of Cavalier Genève Cigars noted:

“These cigars are some of the most intense and rich releases we’ve introduced so far at Cavalier, offering a bold experience for our customers.”

The details regarding the fourth release under Project Broadleaf for 2025 remain undisclosed at this time. However, the fourth iteration is projected to ship in November to selected retailers.

All cigars of this third and fourth iterations have already been completely allocated. No more cigars are available for either of these releases for 2025.

All four releases will become annual offerings, with potential tweaks to their blends over time.

All Cavalier Genève Cigars are hand-rolled at the company’s own Fabrica Centroamericana de Tabaco S.A. (FCT).
