The Freedom Packs generate funds to support CRA’s legislative efforts in Washington, DC, and state capitals nationwide. In August, the cigar industry scored a historic victory when Judge Mehta struck down all FDA regulation of premium cigars, thus achieving the most significant tobacco regulatory repeal in modern history.
This decisive ruling resulted from a lawsuit that CRA led and solely funded, using monies raised from previous Freedom Packs.
But the battle is not over. FDA is appealing Judge Mehta’s decision, and CRA must defend our victory for the industry.
