Crowned Heads has announced the latest in a line of limited edition short-format cigar releases, this time under the sought-after Le Careme brand, in the form of Le Careme Pastelitos LE 2023.
Le Careme Pastelitos follows in a line of Winter season releases that have included La Imperiosa Minutos, Jericho Hill Shots, and Juarez Shots. Unlike the regular production Le Careme line that is box-pressed, Pastelitos are round parejo cigars, measuring 4” x 54, and are finished with a pigtail head. Pastelitos will be packaged in distinctive black-and-gold 24-count cabinet boxes. Pastelitos are traditionally known as Cuban baked puff pastries, typically filled with sweet or savory fillings.
Crowned Heads co-owner/founder, Jon Huber stated:
“Since 2016, we’ve had a history of releasing limited edition short-format cigars for the cold weather months when a quick but satisfying smoke is necessary, Le Careme Pastelitos is the latest in this line of limitadas, and they’re as rich and tasty as the pastries they take their name from.”
The total production of Le Careme Pastelitos LE 2023 will be limited to 1,250 24-count cabinet boxes (30,000 cigars), and will have a suggested retail price of $12.95 per cigar.
The Le Careme brand of cigars is manufactured at Tabacalera La Alianza, S.A., in Santiago, Dominican
Republic, under the supervision of premium cigar industry icon, Ernesto Perez-Carrillo, known as “The Godfather of Boutique Cigars.” Le Careme Pastelitos LE 2023 will begin shipping in March 2023
