Cigar News – Crowned Heads Announces The Lost Angel – TAA Exclusive 2022

Crowned Heads has announced it’s eighth installment to the annual TAA ESP (Exclusive Series Product) line, ‘The Lost Angel-TAA Exclusive 2022.’

For the second year, The Lost Angel continues the prequel story to ‘The Angels Anvil’ TAA Exclusive that ran from 2014 to 2019, and explores the darker side of the original story’s protagonist. The original story parallels Crowned Heads co-founder, Jon Huber’s, career in the cigar industry. The underlying moral of the story is one of rising from the ashes, and is a reminder that the smallest of seeds needs to first be submerged in dirt, covered in darkness, and it is only then that the seed will struggle to reach the light.

Huber commented:

“For the second consecutive year, we’ve taken our TAA Exclusive to our Tabacalera Pichardo family for production. The 2021 Lost Angel was arguably one of our most highly-regarded TAA releases to date, and I strongly believe that the 2022 version will continue on that path. We’ve selected an all-new blend for the series and I think it checks all the boxes for intensity, structure, flavor, complexity, and balance.”

The Lost Angel 2022 is an exclusive release for TAA members that is limited to 1 ,000 (20-count) boxes. The 5 3/4” x 52 parejo cigar has a blend described as:

  • Wrapper – Ecuadorian Habano
  • Binder – Mexican San Andres
  • Filler – Nicaragua (2 regions) and the Dominican Republic

The company notes that the sumptuous wrapper that is color classified as between Colorado and Oscuro.

The Lost Angel 2022 is manufactured at Tabacalera Pichardo in Esteli, Nicaragua, the home to such Crowned Heads brands as Juarez, Mil Dias, and Serie E. The Lost Angel 2022 suggested retail price per cigar will be $12.75 and will begin shipping at the end of May.
