The wait is over, as today Crowned Heads announces the return of the highly sought-after Le Caréme Belicosos Finos, releasing in a Limited Edition 2021 format.
Originally released in 2018, the Le Caréme Belicosos Finos immediately became a cigar enthusiast favorite, culminating in high industry ratings and accolades, including Halfwheel’s ‘Cigar of the Year 2018’ Runner-Up award in 2019. The vitola would re-appear in 2019, also in a Limited Edition format. Two years later, the Le Caréme Belicosos Finos is back.
Unlike the regular production Le Caréme brand which is trunk-pressed, the 5 1/2″ x 52 Belicosos Fino LE 2021 retains the same round format as it’s 2018 and 2019 predecessors.
Crowned Heads co-founder, Jon Huber commented:
“Despite the fact that we were completely out of stock on all Le Caréme cigars in 2020 due to a shortage on Connecticut Broadleaf (wrapper) tobacco, we still continue to receive weekly inquiries on the Le Caréme line. We’re extremely excited to be bringing back not only the Belicosos Finos, but the Le Caréme brand as well, into the retail spotlight.”
The blend is described as:
- Wrapper – Grade A Dark Connecticut Broadleaf
- Binder – Ecuadorian (Sumatra)
- Filler – Nicaraguan
Production is limited to 1,000 (12-count) boxes, i.e., a total production of 12,000 cigars. The suggested retail price for Le Caréme Belicosos Finos LE 2021 is $11.00 per cigar, and $132.00 per box.
Le Caréme Belicosos Finos LE 2021 is manufactured at Tabacalera La Alianza, S.A., Santiago, Dominican Republic, under the supervision of premium cigar industry icon, Ernesto Perez Carrillo.
