Crux Cigars announced today they have begun shipping the long awaited Epicure Maduro to its retail partners across the country. The Crux Epicure Maduro was displayed at the 2018 IPCPR but was not ready to ship at that time.
The blend builds upon the success of the Crux Epicure, but features a premium Mexican San Andres Maduro wrapper, with Nicaraguan binder and fillers.
The company notes that the bold blend results in ‘a medium-full flavored cigar with notes of rich mocha, cedar, earth, and black pepper that are bound together with an underlying creaminess‘.
In today’s press release, Jeff Haugen, President at Crux Cigar Company notes:
“Our customers have been asking for a maduro and we wanted to give them one of the highest quality. We are blessed to work with AJ Fernandez the company and the person, they are awesome.”
The Crux Epicure Maduro is expressed in three popular vitolas and packaged in 10-count boxes with pricing set between $10.00 and $11.50 per cigar.
- Robusto (5 x 50) MSRP $10.00/Cigar
- Robusto Extra (6.25 x 52) MSRP $10.75/Cigar
- Toro (5.75 x 54) MSRP $11.50/Cigar
The Epicure Maduro is the first Crux Cigars release to be produced at the Tabacalera A.J. Fernandez Cigars factory in Esteli, Nicaragua and is a regular production release.
