DBL Cigars by Francisco Almonte has begun shipping their newest release, La Tabla starting Monday, June 26. La Tabla is a (7 x 64) doble prensado, full-bodied, full-flavored offering handcrafted by Francisco Almonte and his team at Tabacalera DBL in Tamboril, Santiago, Dominican Republic. This will be one of two cigars debuting at the PCA trade show in Las Vegas next month. It will join the company’s portfolio as a core line, regular production cigar.
La Tabla blend is described as:
- Wrapper: Brazilian-seed Arapiraca Maduro Sun Grown in Mexico
- Binder: Ecuador Cameroon
- Filler: USA Pennsylvania Broadleaf, USA Fire Cured, Corojo ‘99
La Tabla will be presented in 24-count boxes and each cigar has an MSRP of $11.50
Francisco Almonte, Owner of DBL Cigars noted:
“I love making box-pressed cigars and recognized that there weren’t many large ring gauge, box-pressed cigars in the market, so I wanted to introduce today’s smokers to a new blend in a vitola that is sure to impress.”
The packaging is symbolic of an old treasure box to reinforce the richness of the cigar and the idea that it is a one-if-a-kind jewel.
