If you are a fan of the Drew Estate Herrera Esteli Norteño, then you will be happy to learn that Drew Estate announced it has began shipping the Herrera Esteli Norteño Edicion Limitada to Drew Diplomat retailers nationwide. Keep an eye out for these as they are limited and may not last long on the shelves. The Herrera Esteli Norteño is one of the the best blends created by Drew Estate Master Blender, Willy Herrera, and it launched the whole Herrera Esteli line for the company.
This years edition will be limited to a 7 x 48 box pressed Churchill that according to the company’s press release, ‘features a modified blend of the original Norteño allowing for a smoother and complex smoke’.
From Little Havana in Miami, Master Blender Willy Herrera notes,
“The Norteño Edicion Limitada continues to be one of my favorite projects at Drew Estate. This cigar showcases the complexity in the blending process, requiring tweaks of the classic Norteño blend to really shine in the Churchill Vitola.”
The original Herrera Esteli Norteño was released in 2015, and showcased extensively aged filler tobaccos from the Estelí and Jalapa growing regions of Nicaragua, coupled with a spicy Honduran binder and a rich, bold Mexican San Andrés maduro wrapper.
This year’s release features cigars rolled in 2016 and aged two years using the original molds from the initial production. They will be available in 15 count boxes, with an MSRP of $217.96 or about $14.53/cigar.
