E.P. Carrillo Cigars announced the addition of Allegiance to their portfolio of premium Nicaraguan cigars set to officially launch in October 2022. Allegiance is a highly sought-after blend and will be the first one from the Perez-Carrillo line developed outside the company’s Santiago, DR factory.
The 40,000 square-foot factory in Santiago’s Zona Franca is where all E.P. Carrillo Cigars are fermented, aged, hand-made, and packaged. However, the company is doing things differently with Allegiance by partnering with the Oliva Cigar Co. factory in Nicaragua. The Oliva Cigar Co. is a premium cigar manufacturer that prides itself in having some of the finest top-rated cigars in the world.
Cigarmaker Ernesto Perez-Carrillo notes:
“This is an ode to the deep roots we have in the industry, the friendships and the bonds we’ve made over the years, and how this extends to the E.P. Carrillo lines. Oliva Cigars consistently grows excellent tobacco, and our friendship with their team made it an easy choice to partner with them for Allegiance.”
With the overall mission to create several different concepts in the future to round out Allegiance as a complete series, this new line is made to pay tribute to the overall industry. It’s designed to show how each line has a unique story while shining a light on the friendships that grow over the years. The partnership with Oliva Cigars aligns with E.P. Carrillo Cigars’ core values and diverse portfolio of blends and sizes.
