Espinosa Premium Cigars has announced the newest new member of the Laranja Reserva family, the Laranja Reserva Azulejo.
Originally released in 2014, the original Laranja Reserva was the first breakthrough cigar for Espinosa Premium Cigars. It was followed by the Laranja Reserva Escuro in 2019 and now Azulejo in 2021.
The name Azulejo originates from a Portuguese word for a blueish glazed colored tile. The same blue is used on the Laranja Reserva Azulejo band.
The Laranja Reserva Azulejo is blended using a dark Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper draped over a Brazilian Arapiraca binder, with the fillers being sorted from all the different growing regions of Nicaragua.
Said Erik Espinosa,
“This is a special cigar and I believe it is the perfect blend to join the Laranja family. I can’t wait for our retailers to try it. The original Laranja and the Laranja Escuro have done incredibly well for us. I am looking forward to this (Azulejo) launch.”
Laranja Azulejo is expressed in four different vitolas and will come packaged in 20-count boxes:
- Corona Gorda (6 x 46) – MSRP $11.00
- Robusto Grande (5½ x 54) – MSRP $11.60
- Toro (6 x 52) – MSRP $12.05
- Gordo (6 x 60) – MSRP $12.70
Like the Laranja Reserva Escuro, the Azulejo is being made at A.J. Fernandez’s San Lotano Factory in Ocotál, Nicaragua. The Laranja Reserva Azulejo will be shipping to retailers in late August 2021.
