Cigar News: Espinosa Premium Cigars Showcasing New Additions, Annual Favorites, Commemorative Releases, and Retail Incentives

Espinosa Premium Cigars will head into the 2026 PCA Convention & Trade Show with a broad slate of releases that balances a new line extension, several anticipated annual returns, commemorative projects, and two special incentive cigars created to reward key retail partners and loyal customers.

Erik Espinosa said,

“The goal was to have a lineup that feels complete. Retailers are getting something new, something familiar, some pieces with real commemorative value, and a couple of releases that reward the partners who’ve been with us the longest. That’s really what this 2026 PCA lineup is about. It’s built less around volume and more around clarity, with a new release, a handful of annual returns people already look forward to, a culturally meaningful addition to Las 6 Provincias, a commemorative patriotic re-release, and two non-retail pieces designed to reward the accounts that helped build these brands in the first place.”

Leading the way is Laranja Hybrid, the newest addition to Espinosa’s 2026 PCA portfolio and a fresh extension of one of the company’s most recognized brands. Also featured are the return of annual favorites such as 601 La Bomba Warhead 12 and Knuckle Sandwich Chef Special 2026, the commemorative Warhead: Independence Day 250 Years, and the newest installment in the Las 6 Provincias series, Las 6 Provincias Miami, which honors Miami as the unofficial “seventh province” of Cuba. Rounding out the lineup are two non-retail incentive pieces, 601 Blue 20th Anniversary and Knuckle Sandwich Avant-Garde, both created as commemorative rewards rather than traditional for-sale releases.

Laranja Hybrid

The centerpiece of the 2026 lineup is Laranja Hybrid, the fourth installment in the Laranja series and the newest addition to this year’s PCA presentation. Known for incorporating Brazilian tobaccos into a balanced, flavor-forward profile, the Laranja line has become one of the company’s most recognized brands, and Hybrid expands that identity with a new blend designed to evolve the series without losing what made it work in the first place.

Laranja Hybrid features an Ecuadorian Habano Oscuro wrapper, a Nicaraguan binder, and a filler blend made up of Nicaraguan and Brazilian tobaccos. It will be offered in two box-pressed sizes, both packaged in 10-count boxes:

  • Short Churchill (6 x 48) – MSRP $11.50/Cigar
  • Toro (6 x 52) – MSRP $12.00/Cigar

Annual Returning Releases

Espinosa’s 2026 PCA lineup also includes several annual releases that have already established strong identities within the company’s portfolio.

601 La Bomba Warhead 12

601 La Bomba Warhead 12 continues the Warhead series with a 6 1/8 x 58 box-pressed vitola, featuring a Broadleaf wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and filler. It will retail for $15 per cigar in 10-count boxes priced at $150 MSRP.

The line remains known for bold profiles, unusual dimensions, and a presentation style that has made it one of Espinosa’s most anticipated yearly projects.

Knuckle Sandwich Chef Special 2026

Knuckle Sandwich Chef Special 2026 marks the latest annual return in the Knuckle Sandwich portfolio. This year’s version uses a Mexican claro wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and fillers and comes in a 6 x 54 oval-pressed toro. It will retail for $16 per cigar, packaged in 10-count boxes with an MSRP of $160.

As with prior Chef Special releases, the concept is to deliver a new annual expression while staying true to the core Knuckle Sandwich identity.

Guy Fieri, founder of Knuckle Sandwich, added:

“Man, I’ve been lucky to be part of a lot of things in my career, but to have a brand like Knuckle Sandwich come out swinging and keep growing like this. That’s something special. These new releases, they’ve got personality, they’ve got punch, and they don’t try to be something they’re not. That’s what I love. It’s real, it’s bold, and it’s built for people who actually enjoy the ride, not just talk about it.”

Warhead: Independence Day 250 Years

Also returning is Warhead: Independence Day 250 Years, a commemorative follow-up to the 2025 Independence Day project, now reintroduced as a regular release timed to the 250th anniversary of American independence. The cigar is a 5¾ x 56 Robusto Extra, featuring a dark Ecuadorian wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and filler, and will retail for $16 per cigar in 10-count boxes priced at $160 MSRP.

Las 6 Provincias Miami – The 7th Cuban Province

Among the most culturally significant releases in the 2026 portfolio is Las 6 Provincias Miami, the newest installment in a series that has traditionally paid tribute to Cuba’s original six provinces. With Miami, Espinosa expands the concept beyond geography into identity, recognizing the generations of Cuban exiles and families who carried that culture forward and helped make Miami what it is today. It is, in every sense, the unofficial seventh province.

Las 6 Provincias Miami features a 6¼ x 55 vitola, wrapped in a Nicaraguan-grown hybrid wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and fillers. It is priced at $18 per cigar, with 20-count boxes set at $360 MSRP, and production will be limited to 1,000 boxes.

Erik Espinosa Jr. said,

“With Las 6 Provincias, the packaging always has to carry some of the emotional and historical weight behind the release. Miami wasn’t something we could treat casually. It had to feel like it belonged in that series, and the artwork needed to reflect that this wasn’t just another city release, but a cultural extension of Cuba. That line has always been about more than just putting a cigar in a box. With Miami, the packaging had to help create that sense of identity right away. You should be able to look at it and understand that this release means something beyond the size and blend.”

In addition to its for-sale PCA offerings, Espinosa will also debut two special releases that are not available for retail purchase and instead serve as commemorative incentive pieces.

601 Blue 20th Anniversary celebrates two decades of one of the foundational brands in Erik Espinosa’s career and the company’s history. The cigar is a 6¾ x 56 Oval Toro Grand, made with a Broadleaf wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and filler. Rather than being sold through traditional channels, it will be made available as a special release for select retail partners and their most loyal customers.

Knuckle Sandwich Avant-Garde also falls into that incentive category. It features an Ecuadorian Habano Oscuro wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and fillers in a 6 x 54 Toro format. Like 601 Blue 20th Anniversary, Avant-Garde is not a standard retail item, but a commemorative promotional release reserved for qualifying accounts and supporters of the Knuckle Sandwich brand.

Hector Alfonso Sr., master blender for Espinosa Premium Cigars, said,

“Across the board, whether we were working on a true new release like Laranja Hybrid or revisiting one of our annual and commemorative projects, the standard stayed the same: the blend had to justify the release. We’re not interested in making changes just for the sake of change. Every cigar had to make sense within its line, stay true to its identity, and still bring something distinct to the table. If the blend doesn’t justify the release, then there’s no reason to do it.”
