Omar de Frias is proud to announce the company’s 9th-anniversary blend, The VICEVERSA. The VICEVERSA will be making its debut as an exclusive to PCA Members.
de Frias notes:
“This project is easily one of the most challenging projects I have had the pleasure to work on. We blended a cigar and tripled capped both ends. The consumer decides if they want to start their smoking experience Mild and Creamy or Strong and spicy.”
It should be noted that this is not the first cigar that was marketed as being able to smoke from either end. Tabac Trading Company introduced a series of double ended perfectos, with two different wrappers on either half, known as the Trifecta a few years back and I must say the concept worked well. I will be curious to see how this new introduction performs as well as doing such a project is not an easy endeavor.
The VICEVERSA will debut as a 7 x 52 Vitola with an MSRP of 15.00 per cigar.
“We limited the production to 2,000 boxes of 12 cigars each due to the complexity and manpower required to accurately blend this cigar”.
The Fratello ViceVersa has a blend described as:
- Wrapper – Habano Ecuador HVA
- Binder – Indonesian
- Filler – Pennsylvania, Nicaragua Esteli and Nicaragua Condega
It is manufactured at the La Aurora Cigar Factory in the Dominican Republic. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to PCA.
The first to market this kind of cigar was the Asylum Super 11/18 back in 2015.
Maybe it was just ahead of its time back then.
Hopefully, consumers will enjoy the Vice Versa!
