Fratello Cigars, led by Omar de Frias, proudly announces their participation on Intuitive Machines and NASA groundbreaking mission to become the first cigar company to have its Logo fly to the moon.
This remarkable feat will be accomplished through the Intuitive Machines’ IM-1 mission, which marks the inaugural commercial lunar landing and the first United States spacecraft landing on the Moon since Apollo 17 in 1972. The official launch date is set for November 16th at Cape Canaveral. The Nova-C, will spearhead this pioneering mission aimed at catalyzing a thriving commercial lunar economy and facilitating the delivery of both commercial and NASA payloads, thus paving the path for sustainable human lunar expeditions.
The Lunar Cigar project, a collaborative effort between Omar de Frias and Steve Altemus, the former NASA Deputy Center Director for Johnson Space Center and the founder, president, and CEO of Intuitive Machines, pays homage to NASA’s historic lunar landing mission.

- The Lunar Connecticut boasts an Ecuadorian Connecticut shade wrapper, a Mexican binder, and fillers sourced from the Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, and Cameroon-seed tobacco cultivated in Cameroon.
- The Lunar Cameroon features an Ecuadorian Cameroon wrapper, a Dominican binder, and a blend of fillers from Nicaragua and the United States.
