After years of perfecting the craft, GTO Cigars proudly announces the release of its latest creation: Insomnia:
The Insomnia was inspired by the long, sleepless, chaotic nights of GTO Cigars Owner – Dr. Oscar Rodriguez. I’m the ER physician behind the brand. As a doctor, he spent countless hours on his feet, responding to crises and making life-saving decisions. Now, with Insomnia, he has created a cigar that embodies the endurance and grit needed to push through those exhausting shifts, providing a tantalizing calm that relishes in sweet sublime, renews profound thinking, and restores order to thought.
Insomnia is expressed in a (6 x 52) toro that mirrors the intensity of the ER. With its rich Habano Oscuro wrapper, Sumatra Indonesian binder and a custom blend of select Nicaraguan fillers from Esteli, Condega and Jalapa.
Oscar teamed up with a lifelong friend and fellow veteran, Mario Caraballo of Casa Caraballo Cigars, to collaborate on this incredible journey. The duo, believe they have crafted a rich, smooth, deep, and complex flavor profile—one that’s as bold as the shifts that inspired it and one that they could live with. It’s a wonderful cigar made for those who work late, think late, and savor the moments of peace that come when the world around them is still.

The Insomnia cigar will be available in 10-count boxes, with an MSRP of $12.00 per cigar. Shipping to retailers nationwide will begin in early November 2025.
