Gurkha Cigars is re-releasing the grandfathered brand San Miguel as its latest premium cigar. San Miguel marks the third recent offering by Gurkha Cigars that is made with the highly desirable Aganorsa Leaf from Nicaragua.
This Nicaraguan puro is also made with Aganorsa’s signature double Nicaraguan binder and includes Nicaraguan filler and Nicaraguan shade grown corojo and will be sold for less than $10 per cigar (not including tobacco state taxes).
San Miguel will be available in 20 count boxes and expressed in three different vitolas::
• Petite Corona (4 ¼ x 42)
• Robusto (5 x 52)
• Toro (6 x 54)
In 2019, Gurkha announced the Gurkha Nicaragua Series and Treinta also made by Aganorsa Leaf and they both have received great reviews. Cigar Snob gave the Nicaragua Series a 92 rating and the Treinta a 90 rating. Cigar and Spirits Magazine ranked Gurkha Nicaragua Series #13 in their top 20 cigars of 2019.
