J.C. Newman has announced their 2020 Tobacconists’ Association of America (TAA) release, the Ciento por Ciento. All of the tobaccos in this special cigar are grown in the rich, volcanic soils of Nicaragua, hence the name, Ciento por Ciento, which means 100% in Spanish.
Handcrafted in J.C. Newman’s Nicaraguan factory, Puros de Esteli Nicaragua, S.A. (J.C. Newman PENSA), Ciento por Ciento is a Nicaraguan puro. The wrapper is a Habana-seed leaf grown in the Jalapa Valley, which encloses binder and filler tobaccos from three of Nicaragua’s mountainous regions. The distinctive packaging celebrates that 2020 is J.C. Newman Cigar Company’s 125th anniversary.
The Ciento por Ciento will be available in a single 6.25 x 54 vitola and production is limited to 800 25-count boxes. It will only be available in the United States at TAA members. The cigars will ship by the end of May with an MSRP set at $7.40.
