J.C. Newman Cigar Company Invites Souls to Visit Its Haunted Cigar Factory Step into the Shadows of El Reloj’s Dark Past on Friday, October 18 and Saturday, October 19

Just in time for Halloween, J.C. Newman Cigar Company invites brave souls to uncover the hidden horrors of its historic El Reloj cigar factory with a limited-time Haunted House experience on Friday, October 18 and Saturday, October 19. For more than a century, El Reloj has stood as a symbol of Tampa’s Ybor City cigar district. Beneath the factory’s bustling floors lies a dark and chilling secret, long buried and ready to be revealed.

This exclusive event will allow visitors to descend into the dark, damp basement of the iconic 114-year-old cigar factory. According to legend, a series of terrible events took place underground where a disturbed worker lured his victims to their demise. His victims are said to haunt the factory’s depths to this day.

What to Expect:

  • A 20-minute guided journey through the historic El Reloj cigar factory
  • Immersive storytelling and interactive scares that bring to life the dark history of the factory.
  • Thrilling encounters with the restless spirits who linger beneath the factory floors.
  • The Factory Store will be open during the event, offering guests the chance to purchase premium cigars and exclusive merchandise.
  • A cash bar will be available before and after the tour, offering refreshments to help steady nerves.
