Viso Horny has finally announced the arrival of ‘Uncle Luke’ 452, a scandalously seductive cigar produced at Fábrica de Tabacos Nica Sueño S.A. in Esteli, Nicaragua.
Viso Horny is a concept blend that will bring some spice into the seco lives of connoisseurs. The blend features four different Nicaraguan and Honduran viso long-filler variatals, an African Cameroon viso binder and US Broadleaf viso wrapper. The first release of this blend, a 4×52 petite robusto, also known as the ‘Uncle Luke’, is short, but will have you loving it a long time.
Teased on Instagram since the blending process began just prior to the COVID pandemic in March 2020, this long-anticipated release is the culmination of years of hard work, passion and patience. After years of fine-tuning and caressing it has reached its full potential for its release in the summer of 2023.
Due to the limited availability of a rare Somoto filler, this will likely be a one-time release. A total of 2,500 cigars will be packaged and offered in 10 count bundles with an MSRP of $10/$100. While some retailers may be disgusted to see the traditional go-to-market model busted, Tyler Jeffery aka Viso Horny will distribute the cigars utilizing a direct-to-consumer model, and he has begun accepting pre-orders via his Instagram account (@visohorny) and email ([email protected]). The cigars are estimated to be shipped to customers in late July.
Viso Horny was master-blended by tobacco savant Tyler Jeffery. Before moving to Austin, TX, Tyler worked at Havana Lounge and Cigar in West Allis, Wisconsin and most recently Lake Country Cigars in Delafield, Wisconsin. Tyler has travelled to Nicaragua annually over the last five years to study under many notable tobacco industry veterans. With ‘Uncle Luke’ he has snatched the pebble from the masters’ hand.
