Cigar News: Powstanie Cigars Announces Release of Mexican San Andrés Corona Gorda — Orders Now Open

Powstanie Cigars has announced the release of the Powstanie Mexican San Andrés Corona Gorda, a new vitola that further underscores the brand’s commitment to bold flavor, balance, and meticulous craftsmanship. Orders for this release are now open.

Wrapped in a well-fermented Mexican San Andrés wrapper, the Corona Gorda highlights the depth and richness that this celebrated tobacco is known for. Beneath its dark, toothy exterior is a carefully constructed blend featuring an Indonesian binder and premium filler tobaccos from Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic. The result is a full-bodied smoking experience that delivers intensity, balance, and complexity in equal measure.

The Corona Gorda format allows the wrapper to take center stage, amplifying natural notes of dark cocoa, espresso, roasted earth, and subtle spice, while maintaining a smooth draw and consistent burn from start to finish.

Mike Szczepankiewicz – One of the brothers behind the Powstanie brand – stated:

“This vitola really lets the San Andrés wrapper speak. The Corona Gorda brings forward the richness and texture of the blend while remaining refined and approachable.”

The Powstanie Mexican San Andrés Corona Gorda is available for order now and will begin shipping to retailers shortly.
