Serafin de Cuba Cigars has announced their latest release the “El Capitan” line of cigars to be showcased at the 2025 PCA trade show in New Orleans.

The El Capitan Cigar is made to honor longtime Serafin de Cuba employee and dear friend Jose “El Capitan” Gallinat. Mr. Gallinat was a Cuban Patriot who was in both the Cuban and US Armies and fought heroically in the Bay of Pigs invasion with Brigade 2506.

This cigar was Serafin’s way to show gratitude and respect for a person he cared for and who helped him so much for so many years. El Capitan is a limited edition run with only 1,000 ten count boxes being made.
El Capitan is expressed in one size, the appropriately named “Cuban Missile” in a 7×54. The cigar is blend of Nicaraguan tobaccos wrapped in a Mexican negro San Andrés wrapper. Described as a full bodied smoke, El Capitan has a retail price of $15 per cigar.
