Vicarias Cigars has announced their latest cigar – the Red Label Edicion Limitada.
The new cigar was borne out of necessity, as pandemic-related supply chain issues made the Brazilian Cubra wrapper leaf of the original Red Label temporarily unobtainable.
Luis Cuevas, Sr., recommended the Ecuador Habano wrapper that graces the new edition which, like all Vicarias cigars, is manufactured at his Tabacalera Las Lavas factory in the Dominican Republic. Otherwise, the blend is unchanged: a Nicaraguan Jalapa binder with Dominican Piloto Cubano, Pennsylvania Broadleaf and Jalapa Ligero as filler.
In the future, it may become either a permanent addition to the Vicarias portfolio or an annual special edition release.
Like the original Red Label, the Edicion Limitada is offered in a single vitola; a 6 x 54 Toro. It is available immediately to retailers and carries an MSRP of $9.30.
