Cigar News: Villiger Cigars Announces the Villiger Cuéllar Caribe

Villiger Cigars is thrilled to introduce their latest creation, the Villiger Cuéllar Caribe. The Villiger Cuéllar line, one of the company’s best-selling brands, previously featured the Cuéllar Kreme as a mild blend and the Cuéllar Black Forest as a full-bodied blend. However, the company recognized the need for a medium-bodied option.

Crafted at Jochy Blanco’s renowned Tabacalera Palma, the Villiger Cuellar cigars have always been a testament to quality. Villiger has entrusted Jochy Blanco to develop the perfect blend to complete this esteemed family of cigars. After exploring various blends, the company selected a refined version of the Villiger TAA 2021—originally crafted by Jochy Blanco—as the new Caribe blend.

The blend is described as:

  • Wrapper – Ecuadorian Habano
  • Binder – Dominican Republic
  • Filler – Dominican Republic

The Villiger Cuéllar Caribe is expressed in 4 vitolas:

  • Robusto (5 x 48)
  • Toro Gordo (6 x 54)
  • Torpedo (6 1/4 x 52)
  • Churchill (7 x 50)

The company notes:

The Villiger Cuellar Caribe delivers woody and floral notes evolving in complexity with impressions of almonds with roasted coffee, with a dried fig sweetness finish.
