This is the second ‘Catch & Release’ offering following the successful drop of the “The Speckl’d Perch” earlier in the year. “The Brown-E-Trout” is a premium 6 x 54 box press toro featuring a delicious dark chocolate brown, Mexican San Andres maduro wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos.
The strength of this cigar is medium-plus, and full of flavor. Your palate will experience notes of chewy, well-done corner fudge brownie, light cinnamon, and warm earthy notes. This cigar produces a thick smoke, with velvety mouthfeel. The last third adds a bit of espresso and hints of pleasant baking spices on the finish. The cigar exhibits excellent construction and combustibility, producing a solid barrel of ash. But perhaps the most amazing thing about this cigar is the price point.
