Founded in 2019, All Saints Fine Cigars, is the brainchild of Micky Pegg and tow of his friends. Micky is best known in the industry as the Davidoff Mid-Atlantic Sales Representative and National Sales Manager for CAO. After departing CAO, Micky took a break and furthered his education and got into the financial planning field. Like all good starts in the cigar business, Micky had a couple of friends that convinced him he should start his own brand. Micky explains on his website:
“…we were sitting down talking and smoking cigars. And finally we decided. We said, ‘Alright, let’s do this together.’ It was time. I decided if I’m going to work this hard it should be for something I love. Besides, a tough day with a cigar is better than a bad day without one”
And so, a new cigar company was born by the three friends; successful restaurateur Martin Corboy, Air Force Academy graduate and veteran Frank Layo, and Cigar Industry Expert Micky Pegg.
The company website goes on to explain:
“…they began the process of launching All Saints Cigars. Jokingly referring to themselves as the Holy Trinity (St. Michael, St. Martin and St. Francis), they chose for their logo the cross of Saint James, the patron saint of Nicaragua, the country where their cigars would be produced. Micky partnered exclusively with Rocky Patel and Amilcar Perez-Castro of the TAVICUSA factory to blend and make All Saints cigars.
The Dedicación was the second blend released by the young company, following the inaugural Solamente. The Dedicación was named to give tribute to every meaningful person in Micky’s life. ‘From those working in the fincas to the families they support,‘ Micky says, ‘And for the families in the States that support those guys that are on the road four or five days a week. And it’s for my mentors along the way like David Berkebile, Walter Gorski, George Brightman and, of course, Cano Ozgener (the late founder of CAO).’
The company describes the blend of the Dedicación as:

For this review, I sampled five All Saints Dedicación Berkey cigars which I received from the company for the purpose of reviewing on Stogie Press.
Pre-Light Examination
The All Saints Dedicación Berkey is a crisp, box pressed vitola, that sports a medium to dark brown wrapper that has some decent marbling and a light grit to touch. It is light on veins and has tight seams. Solidly packed with a decent weight in the hand, the Dedicación is finished with a well applied triple cap.
Two bands adorn the cigar, each using a blue, gold, and white motif. The primary band boldly displays the company’s shield logo in the center along with the words “IGNAVUS AGIT ” and “ODIT DOMINUS” on the sides, which translates to the company mantra, “The Lord Hates A Coward“. The secondary band is placed just below and declares this as the Dedicación.
Running the barrel along the nose, I picked up a raisin and spice pre-light aroma while the foot presented an enticing cocoa note.
I sliced the cap straight across the shoulder and proceeded to give it some cold draw puffs that were decently restricted and offered notes of light fruit, cinnamon, and a touch of nut.
With the pre-light much to my liking, I used my double flame torch to warm the foot to an even orange glow and drew in the the first puffs of cocoa and cinnamon smoke. Follow along as I break down the All Saints Dedicación Berkey.
Cigar Review Notes

- Spice notes increase entering the final third with a continuing maple syrup aroma
- Fruit nuances join the profile moving down to the nub

- Total Smoking time was 1 hour and 30 minutes
Overall, the All Saints Cigars Dedicación Berkey was a pleasurable cigar that offered a well balanced set of flavors and aromas. There is a core of spiciness that ran the journey along with nuances of caramel sweetness, cocoa and floral. A maple syrup aroma develops in the second third and stayed with the journey for mostly the rest of the burn. From a construction/burn perspective, the cigar had mildly jagged burn line and flat burn cone when the ash fell. This is worth grabbing a fiver of and I rate it a 93.
