Early in 2024, B.A.M.F. Cigars released a new blend known as the Area 51 Alien. It is described as a Top Secret cigar where the company will not disclose the blend because it is “The Cigar that doesn’t exist”. This project was another collaboration between Ismael and Doug Kojak Kacsir who have worked together on other blends. What we do know is the name – Area 51 Alien and that it is expressed in a 6.5 x 48 vitola that is packaged in 10-count boxes with an MSRP of $145.00/box ($14.50/cigar). This is the first time in history for BAMF and ROCF that they will not disclose the blend.
Two cool parts to the packaging are the glow in the dark band and they come in glass tubes. The cigar is made at the Rodriguez Olivan Cigars Factory in the Dominican Republic.
Pre-Light Examination
The B.A.M.F. Cigars Area 51 Alien is a nicely constructed and rolled dark reddish-brown brown cigar. the wrapper is a slight marbling and decent oily sheen. The cigar is firm from head to foot. A simple cap and a closed candela foot complete the construction.
A single band adorns the cigar. The art is vibrant on the band with images of an alien and the cigar name “AREA 51 ALIEN” As noted before, the band actually glows in the dark. Don’t burn that band, I may be radioactive! <chuckle>
I ran the cigar along the nose and picked up a campfire-like note along the barrel. There is not much aroma off the closed foot.
Once I slice the cap straight across the shoulder of the cigar, I gave it some cold draw puffs. Restriction could not be determined with the closed foot but there was certainly some crushed red pepper notes enticing the palate.
Using my Xikar fan flame torch, I warmed the foot, which did not take well to the flame. It started to immediately off burn but that would quickly correct itself, as you shall see, once it started to burn. the draw was fine, and the palate was treated to notes of herbal and umami flavors. Follow along as burn this one to ash.

Final Analysis
The initial flavors of the B.A.M.F. Cigars Area 51 Alien are a delicate blend of herbal and umami notes, setting a rich foundation. As the smoke develops, dark cherry undertones emerge, adding depth to the profile. As the first third unfolds, toasted cracker notes weave in, accompanied by a growing intensity of cherry fruit. As the smoke progresses into the second third, espresso notes begin to meld with the existing flavors, creating a deeper complexity. Sweetness and vibrant fruit notes continue to linger, now joined by a subtle touch of spice in the background. By the final third, the spice becomes richer and more pronounced, while the fruit notes remain a constant, harmonizing with the evolving flavors. This is worth a box buy. I rate this a 94.
