The Flor de Selva brand is one of four lines produced by Maya Selva Cigars. This 22-year-old company is owned and operated by Maya Selva, a woman who is as elegant as the cigars she produces. Today we review the Flor de Selva Natural Robusto which is available in 16 different vitolas:

- Wrapper: Connecticut from Talanga
- Binder: Habano Jamastrán
- Filler: Viso Jamastrán, Ligero Azacualpa

Cigar Review Notes
- Beautifully capped toothy Connecticut shade
- Veins are slight with a noticeable seam
- Tight packing with no soft spots
- Elegant white bands adorn it
- The foot shows some dark filler
- Sweet tea aroma off the foot
- Greeted with nut and pepper right off the start
- Pepper hits the back of the throat
- Pepper remains through first half-inch
- Light grey ash on a thick char line
- So far no discernible bitterness
- Smoke is thick and creamy
- Touch of fruit enters
- Slight wave that is correcting itself
- Medium strength by end of first third
- Toasted nut aroma
- Cream and citrus develop
- Slight oil sheen appearing on wrapper
- Ash holds on for about an inch at a time
- Citrus is prominent note
- Fruity aroma opens up in final third
- Just over an hour of smoking time
