The International Premium Cigar and Pipe Retailers (IPCPR) Association announced today that Rachel Hyde, assumes the role of Director of State Affairs with the announcement of the resignation of Matt Dogali who was the Senior Director of State Affairs. Mr. Dogali’s last day in office will be January 24, 2018. IPCPR president Ken P. Neumann praised the work of Ms. Hyde in his statement;
“Rachel has been a key part of our success since she was hired in 2013, and we are thrilled to promote her to this important position,”
Rachel holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Virginia and has held positions of Deputy Director of State Affairs and Legislative Affairs Manager with the IPCPR since 2013. Prior to that she held the positions of Legislative Assistant for the National Rifle Association, Operations Manager for Americans for Tax Reform, and Legislative Intern for the Virginia General Assembly.
The IPCPR noted in today’s press release that “Mr. Dogali has led the IPCPR’s state team with great success, representing the interests of tobacconists in state capitals across the country.”
Mr. Dogali had only the best to say about his colleagues and noted in a statement;
“I have greatly appreciated the opportunity to work alongside dedicated IPCPR members, board members, and staff over the past five years. I look forward to continuing a partnership with the IPCPR in the future as Executive Director of the Presidents’ Forum of the Distilled Spirits Industry.”
IPCPR’s State Committee Chairman, Greg Zimmerman, noted;
“I am extremely proud of what IPCPR has accomplished under Matt’s leadership at the state level. We have grown from a little-known organization in the states into an established program with a bright future. We thank Matt for his service to IPCPR and wish him success in his new position. We also look forward to continuing the association’s tradition of excellent leadership”
