A Match Made In Heaven
Ace Prime co-founder Luciano Meirelles announces a new partnership with Mas Igneus, one of the finest wine producers in Spain’s unique Priorat region. The fruit of this unique collaboration will be the new The Dreamer wine, expected to be released along with three new vitola sizes for the cigar in the first quarter of 2022.
Having once been a limited-edition cigar, the possibility of pairing The Dreamer with a wine has opened this highly rated smoke to new possibilities. Naturally, the rich and aromatic grapes of Priorat were a perfect match. This new initiative between Ace Prime and Mas Igneus is the result of years of friendship between Meirelles and Jerome Valcke and WSET Ornella Valcke, who found a mutual passion for developing extraordinary flavors and new harmonious experiences. Joining the master blender skills of Meirelles with the wine expertise of Ornella Valcke, comes a new wine harmonious to The Dreamer.
Jerome Valcke commented:
“We found there are so many parallels between the intricacies of cigar and wine production, it’s about time we work together to create an unexpected, new, and delightful synergy of flavors.”
Priorat is one of only two wine regions in Spain to qualify as DOCa, the highest qualification level for a wine region according to Spanish wine regulations. The region is famous for producing powerful wines and having vineyards older than a hundred years. Mas Igneus was recently praised in Forbes Magazine for its new and old wines, as well as its promising future.

Along with the Luciano The Dreamer Wine comes three new cigar vitolas (late February). Adding to the 92 rated Cigar
Aficionado and 94 rated Stogie Press Lancero, comes:
- Hermoso No. 4 (5 x 48)
- Toro de Lux (6 7/8 x 50)
- Belicoso (5 1/2 x 52 – Figurado)
Ace Prime and Mas Igneus will also continue with collaborations with new releases of wines and cigars in 2022.
