Artesano Del Tobacco has announced the new EL Pulpo Culebra size called “OCTO OCHO”. These cigars will start shipping today September 8th, and they will be on their way to cigar shops nationwide.
EL Pulpo Culebra “OCTO OCHO” is the same blend of the original EL Pulpo cigars with its San Andreas Maduro wrapper, Nicaraguan Binder and Filler, made by AJ Fernandez in Nicaragua.

“The idea came to us a year ago when we were smoking the EL Pulpo prerelease with our friends at Luxury Cigar Club, they suggested to make a Culebra size for EL pulpo cigars to celebrate and highlight this very well aged San Andreas Maduro Wrapper and to represent the Octopus tentacles. Smoking this twisted Lancero surpassing our prediction and judgment with its outstanding balanced of sweet and full flavors.”
EL Pulpo Culebra “OCTO OCHO” consists of 3 Lanceros measuring : 38 X 7” each, intertwined
and bound by two red ribbons. They are packaged in a one slide-lid yellow wood coffin, and a large red
cardboard case containing 3 Yellow wood coffins.
The blend is described as:
- Wrapper: Maduro Mexican San Andreas
- Binder: Nicaraguan
- Filler: Nicaraguan
The company notes that the MSSRP for one coffin is set at $41.00
