Black Works Studio has announced the release of Aumakua as an R. Field Wine Co. exclusive; hand crafted at Fabrica Oveja Negra in Esteli, Nicaragua. According to Hawaiian legend an Aumakua isa personal or family god that originated as a deified ancestor, and which takes on physical forms such as spirit vehicles. An aumakua may manifest as a shark, owl, bird, octopus, or inanimate objects such as plants or rocks.
James Brown, creator of BLTC and partner at Fabrica Oveja Negra noted:
“Aumakua is an exclusive For R.Field Wine Co. After much anticipation we are excited to release this for a second time.”
The company describes the blend as:
- Wrapper – Dual wrapper with Mexican San Andrés and Ecuador Sungrown
- Binder – Ecuador Habano
- Filler – Nicaragua
The Aumakua is expressed in a single 5.5 x 48 robusto vitola and comes packaged in 10-count boxes. MSRP has been set at $10.00/cigar
