At the upcoming PCA Convention and International Trade Show to be held in Las Vegas (July 7-11), Crowned Heads will debut a new size extension to their sought-after Mil Dias brand, the Mil Dias Topes.
Mil Dias Topes features the original Mil Dias blend described as:
- Wrapper – Ecuadorian Habano
- Binder – Nicaraguan
- Filler – Nicaragua, Peru, and Costa Rica
The cigar measures 4 7/8” x 56 with a pigtail head.
Crowned Heads co-founder, Jon Huber stated:
“While we’ve produced some limitadas under the Mil Dias marca, Topes will be the first regular production size extension added since we debuted the brand in 2020, We felt the timing was right to expand the Mil Dias range, and this will be the largest ring gauge to-date in the brand. We found the larger ring gauge when combined with a shorter length really allowed the blend to open up and express itself, emphasizing the unique floral notes and sweetened cream tones that Mil Dias has become known for.”
Mil Dias Topes will have a suggested retail price of $12.25 per cigar and is expected to begin shipping in August. Mil Dias is manufactured at the TacaNicsa factory in Esteli, Nicaragua, under the supervision of Eradio Pichardo. In addition to the Mil Dias Topes, the line is currently available in four other vitolas:
- Corona Gorda (6” x 46)
- Edmundo (5 3/8” x 52)
- Double Robusto (6 3/8” x 50)
- Sublime (6” x 54)
