Originally intended for a full release next month, Dissident is releasing a partial allocation of its limited edition HOME 2020 to select retailers this week in an attempt to support some of its retail partners.
Dissident Cigars Owner, Ben Holt stated:
“I was waiting until next month when the whole of the shipment was stateside to release the HOME 2020 in full force, but with the current situation many retailers are in as a result of the Coronavirus I am releasing the 50 boxes we do have to a select few in hopes of helping them with their sales during these trying times.”
Holt continued:
“Many of our retail partners are feeling the pinch this situation has created and I want to do what I can to help them out. They are the bread and butter that make this industry function.
I know it’s not much, but I hope this might help give them some kind of boost until this situation passes over. They have employees and bills to pay and families to support. I want to do what I can to help. I want to encourage consumers to keep supporting their shops during this time.”
Dissident noted that the rest of the HOME 2020 allocations will be released next month to all its qualifying retail partners.

How I wish the owner was the guys that owned this company before, this guy is so chalky and seems to think that hes a huge deal . It funny but hes riding on James Browns coat tails and the cigars he’s putting out arent near the originals. This is a disgusting way of self promotion, being that I run a shop that sells a ton of boutique cigars, and I’ve never seen anyone ask or even smoke one. Holt, try being original and have respect for those that know the business and try and learn rather than make money off a pandemic. Also the girl Jean’s hipster look.. wow!
