While many ciagrs made by Foundation Cigars highlight a leaf from his home state of Connecticut, Nick noted:
“Unfortunately, there is not enough supply of Connecticut Habano for this brand and also it is very costly. Connecticut Habano needs almost three years in fermentation and we only have enough for use on our Tabernacle Havana Seed CT blend.”
Foundation Cigars founder, Nicholas Melillo added:
“There’s nothing like a 50-count cabinet – or a 6×52 Torpedo! Why not put them together in one beautiful package?”
Foundation’s Charter Oak line is an homage to the unique soil and historic brands of the company’s native state of Connecticut.
The company declared:
“Earning the distinction of #1 Best Buy from Cigar Aficionado, whether in the silky Connecticut Shade, the rustic CT Broadleaf, or now the rich Habano, the Charter Oaks are the perfect go-to cigar for every day and every occasion.“
