Cigar News: Fratello Announces the Arlequin Perfecto

Fratello Cigars has announced the Fratello Arlequin Perfecto. Debuting on a 6 x 58 Perfecto shape this cigar was blended to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of Old Virginia Tobacco.

Omar de Frias, owner of Fratello cigars stated:

“This was the right move. Arlequin continues to gain tremendous traction in the US and Old Virginia Tobacco and its customers have truly embraced this cigar. To commemorate this occasion we worked on a perfecto size where due to its complexity in manufacturing only 150 cigars can be produced per day.”

The blend is described as:

  • Wrapper: San Andres Mexico
  • Binder: Ecuador Habano
  • Filler: Peru and Nicaragua

The Arlequin Perfecto, like the others in the line, is Manufactured at Joya de Nicaragua in Esteli and comes packaged in 12-cont boxes. The company noted that there will be a limit of 5,000 cigars made. The MSRP has been set at $12.00.

Arlequin was first introduced in June 2019 as a 6 x 50 Parejo with the release of the Space Fresh Pack. Arlequin was later box pressed and released with minor tweaks to the blend in June 2020. To the date, the Arlequin is otherwise available in three box pressed vitolas: Robusto (5 1/2 x 52), Toro (6 1/4 x 54) and Gordo (6 x 58).
