Iconic actor Martin Kove, best known for portraying John Kreese in The Karate Kid and Cobra Kai, has partnered with La Casa Grande Cigars for a cigar collaboration named The Prodigal Son.

The partnership was unveiled at an exclusive Los Angeles event, where Martin Kove introduced the cigar brand, which features a four-part comic novel and soon to be TV series. Attendees also had the opportunity to experience the artistry of La Casa Grande’s premium hand-rolled cigars.

Paul DiSilvio, founder of the now famous La Casa Grande Cigar Factory on Arthur Avenue in the Bronx, celebrates 30 years in the cigar industry. Known for his collaboration with Chazz Palminteri on A Bronx Tale Cigar, DiSilvio continues to innovate with The Prodigal Son cigar, which was produced in partnership with “Industry Killer” Sanj Patel, the cigars are crafted in Patel’s factory in the Dominican Republic. This premium release merges DiSilvio’s expert craftsmanship, alongside Patel’s creativity and Kove’s vision, offering a truly distinctive cigar experience.

Once available, fans will have the opportunity to enjoy The Prodigal Son alongside its specially released companion cigar, the Toro Maduro. Due to limited production, the line will initially launch through three select retailers:
The inaugural release is expressed in a (6 x 52) Toro Vitola of an undisclosed blend. They will come packaged in 20-count boxes featuring the image of The Prodigal Son on the top. The team has set an MSRP of $14.00/cigar. As production expands, wider availability is expected in Fall 2025/2026.
