Cigar News: La Gloria Cubana Releases Second Society Cigar

La Gloria Cubana has once again empowered its fans to develop a limited-edition blend. Called the La Gloria Cubana Society Cigar II, the expression is named after a group of cigar smokers called the “La Gloria Cubana Society” who frequently interact with the brand online through the LGC website and offline at La Gloria activations across the US.

The La Gloria Cubana Society Cigar II was developed with input from Society Members who are counted among the brand’s most devoted fans across the U.S. They consulted on the blend profile, packaging and size of the cigar in a collaborative process that spanned nearly a year.

Cory Beardsley, assistant brand manager for La Gloria Cubana stated:

“For this, our second ‘Society Cigar,’ we have created a smoking experience that reflects the collective preferences of La Gloria Cubana fans. This special release speaks to what this elite group of smokers currently looks for in a cigar, and we’re proud to bring it to life for them.”

Handcrafted at the El Credito Cigar Factory in Santiago, Dominican Republic, the La Gloria Society Cigar II is a robust, four-country blend:

  • Wrapper – Honduran Habano
  • Binder – Ecuadorian Sumatra
  • Filler – Dominican Republic and Nicaragua

The smoke delivers rich notes of leather and spice with a subtle sweetness.

The blend is available in one size, a (6 x 50) toro that’s presented in 10-count, wooden boxes. The cigar will ship in mid-November.

MSRP has been set at $12.99 per cigar

La Gloria Cubana is distributed by Forged Cigar Company.
