Cigar News: Lampert Cigars Announces the Lampert 1675 Edición Morodo

LAMPERT CIGARS will be unveiling its newest line – Edición MORADO and it has started shipping to select shops. The widespread release is expected in mid-April.

LAMPERT 1675 EDICION MORADO is a full-bodied, full flavor cigar specifically blended to Stefan’s specifications embodying the complex, delicious and rich flavor experience he was searching for in a maduro cigar.

The new line has a bend described as:

  • Wrapper – Mexican San Andres
  • Binder – Nicaraguan
  • Filler – Nicaraguan

The binder and filler were grown, fermented, then aged for four years by the Ortez family in the Jalapa and Condega valleys.

Like the Edición AZUL and ROJO, the Edición Morado is produced by Fábrica AGROTABACOS, Nicaragua.

The Edición MORADO will initially be available in two vitolas in the US market, each packaged in 20-count boxes:

  • Robusto (MSRP $14.00)
  • Toro (MSRP $15.00)

A Short Robusto is planned to be released later in the year.
